Adventure lovers have an unmissable visit to make to Isla Magica amusement park. It is locates in Seville and has started the season with many novelties and new shows.

This year the themed park features a grate renovation of its audiovisual and multimedia offers, as well as street animations, restaurants, games, among others. The new shows started at the grate party where there activities for the whole family.

In addiction to the pirate-related shows Isla Magica throughout the season, such as “The Pirates of the Mutiny”, “Pirate Flee market”, The Tavern of the one-eyed turtle”, “When Captain Hook meet Tinker Bell”, “Everybody against ghost pirates”, “World Pirate Championship”, etc., there are new shows like “Condemned for Piracy” an “The Pirate’s band”.

Pirates and their spatial designs (rides like The Buccaneers, Barbarossa’s ship, The Barrels, etc.) have always been the icons representing Isla Magica, and have been used this year as settings for Disney promotional TV programs and contests, in connection with to Pirates of the Caribbean 4 release.

Last October other outstanding activities took place to celebrate beer party Oktoberfest and Halloween. Also to celebrate the scariest night of the year, Isla Magica underwent a transformation and became the island witches, zombies, darkness and terror. The public could enjoy a few days of fright in island that changed its look dramatically featuring a special decoration while a series of mysterious events led by enigmatic creatures occurred.

Moreover the park has many activities organised for Christmas. From December 3 to January (, you can enjoy artificial snow, Christmas shows, Nativity exhibitions, hot chestnut sellers, Father Christmas animations, letter collection by the Royal Postman, the Three Wise Men passacaglia, karts, roast chestnut kiosks, fritters, chocolate and hot soup, Christmas musicals, mechanical attractions, and many others. Moreover, films like, “The Christmas Goblins’ and “The Little Prince” will be shown at the cinema Dimension 4. With 3D images, you van enjoy the special effects that go beyond the cinema screen, such as artificial snow, water, smell, seats movements, cold etc.

As for the novelties this year, that are very successful indeed, these is the interactive ride of The Buccaneers, locates in the lake, where real battles take place; the improved roller coaster Jaguar, the park’s most emblematic ride, has been modernised; the Temple of Terror, located in the Mayan World areas, and a large variety of audiovisual showings.

The Park features the 16th-century atmosphere and society, a time when news worlds were are discovered. Thus visitors get into the different themed areas: Seville, Port of Indies, Mayan World, the Door of the Americas, The Amazonia, The Pirate Hideout, the Fountain of Youth; The Island of Children, El Dorado and the metropolis of Spain, all of them surrounded by vast vegetation.

New exhibition in Granada

The Alhambra, in Granada, has inaugurated a new exhibition. The exposition is focused on the last work of the American (but Irish-born)  painter Sean Scully, named Luz del Sur (Southern Light) between the artist and the Alhambra, the beautiful Moorish palace in Granada.

Torremolinos is famous for beeing an ideal city for relax, cosy strolls along the beach and at the small streets between the plazas in a perfect combination with entertainment and a great variety of gastronomical choices. During the “Dia del Pescaito” (to honour the special fishcooking) are tourists given free samplings of this delicacy surrounded by music and a festive atmosphere. Aside from all this, Torremolinos also supply a great amount of shopping. The shops ranging from cosy, small shops to big international brand stores. a good deal is to buy jewellery, leather and the well-known “Lladro” porcelain from Spain. The heart of the shoppingcentre is the famous and congenial street ”Calle San Miguel”. Even more shopping can be found in Malaga for the real shopaholics.
