Cala Millor translates literally as ‘the better bay,' which is a reflection of the town’s most significant feature. South of Cala Millor, near the town of Porto Cristo are the 2000 year old caves known as the ‘Cuevas del Drach.’ This massive cave system consists of six underground lakes and a number of memorable features, including interludes of classical music performed by musicians in boats on the largest of the subterranean lakes.
