La Gomera Coastline La Gomera is the second smallest of the Canary Island’s and is situated 28 kilometres west of Tenerife, off the north African coast. The capital offers a number of fascinating points of interest including the Church of the Asunción, the fortress remains at Torre del Conde, the Museum Casa de Colón and the Pozo de la Aguada.

The dominating feature on La Gomera is the Garajonay National Park region where rain forests meet mountains to such a stunning effect UNESCO have declared Garajonay a ‘Property of Humanity.’ The highest peak in the area is the impressive Alto de Garajonay standing at 1487 meters. Located in Garajonay National Park is the largest town on La Gomera, Vallehermoso where visitors can enjoy a comprehensive range of facilities and superb beaches.
