Tenerife
is the largest of Spain's seven Canary Islands. Located in the Atlantic
Ocean, the island lies 100 kilometres off the north west coast of
Africa and 1,350 kilometres south of the Iberian Peninsula. Millions

with a comprehensive range of facilities at the nearby beach resorts,
Las Gaviotas and Las Teresitas
Situated in the north of the Island is Puerto de la
Cruz (Port of the Cross), one of the most visited towns in Tenerife.
This popular tourist resort is the oldest in the archipelago and has
been host to visitors from around the world since the 19th century.
In Puerto de la Cruz quaint streets are filled with historic buildings
including the Castillo De San Felipe and the Church of Nuestra Señora
de la Peña de Francia. The most popular attraction in Puerto
de la Cruz can be found in the central Martianez beach area. The Lido
Martinez combines the most appealing attributes Tenerife has to offer
within an exciting complex consisting of seven saltwater pools and
a number of beautifully sculpted fountains and islands.
