The Universal
Port Aventura is a dynamic theme park with an outstanding array
of rides and a large number of diverse attractions on the gorgeous
north east coast of Spain. This is the only Universal Studios theme
park in Europe and it boasts a prime position on the Costa Daurada,
north of Salou and south of the popular tourist resort of Barcelona.
Consisting of five distinct regions, this amazing park offers separate
realms of adventure and fun in the charismatic Mediterrània,
ancient China, colourful Polynesia, the wild Far West and thrilling
Mexico. These areas contain a wide variety of rides that provide
everything from intense thrills, excitement and pure adrenalin to
serene, relaxation and calm within a framework that reflects the
cultures, cuisines, traditions and plant life of each individual
region.

The range of entertainment
possibilities is almost endless at Universal Port Aventura all through
the year. A popular attraction during the beautiful Mediterranean
summer evenings is the world famous Fiestaventura, a special celebration
marked by a spectacular laser and firework display. Visitors to
the park also discover a fantastic range of facilities and services
to meet all budgets and palettes, which includes 13 restaurants,
a large selection of cafes, sandwich bars and snack shops.

The theme park, located within the resort of Universal
Mediterránea, has excellent access by rail and road. The
resort has a train station with regular RENFE services available
to the major cities in the region. There are also a number of
coach and bus services to the resort from towns across the Iberian
Peninsula and Europe.
Port Aventura has two seasons within the year, each
with separate ticket pricing structures and opening times. Season
A runs from 19th June to 12th September and Season B covers the
rest of the year. During Season A the park is open daily from
10am to midnight and during Season B, up to Nov 1st, from 10am
to 7pm. In November the park is open at the weekends only, from
10am to 7pm. However, the park is open for the Christmas celebrations
between 6th December and 9th January from 10am to 7pm, except
January 1st, which is considered an important national holiday
in Spain and the park is closed all day.

During Season A, an adult’s 1 day ticket costs 35
€ and for juniors / seniors the price is 28 €. There is an evening
ticket available during Season A, which is valid from 7pm to 12am,
for adults this costs 23 €, for juniors / seniors, 18.50 €. Ticket
prices for Season B are an adult’s 1 day ticket for 33 € and juniors
/ seniors 26.50 €. Juniors are considered to be children between
the ages of 4 and 11, while seniors are people of 60 years and over.
Children under the age of 4 years of age enter the park for free
and people with a disability access the park for 17.50 € during
both seasons.
