The cave of Altamira is one of the most important artistic places of prehistory.
The paintings on the walls have been there since the Palaeolithic 15.000 years ago, because of that reason it’s considered as a cultural heritage of humanity.

In the other area of the museum we can see the art y culture of the gathering hunter of the Palaeolithic y observe various samples.
Other activates you can do is discover the beautiful surroundings of the museum and the cave located on the top of the hill or you could also visit the workshop and do some courses and many more activates which are available at the museum.
