As soon as you arrive the castle and its medieval walls constructed in the XIV century stand out. In the old part of the city there are a several churches, abbeys or hermitages to visit: the church of Santa María la Mayor, the church of San Juan, the abbey of San Francisco o the hermitages of Pedro Mártir y San Marcos. Walking the staggered streets we can go up to the castle that sits at the top of the town, on top of the big rock know as “La Mola”, there are guided tours and stroll through various rooms of the castle to explore its architectural views. Other monuments to have in account is the aqueduct of Santa Lucía built in the XIV century and the town hall of the fifteenth century, both monuments are of the gothic origin.
Other places to visit are the cave painting at Morella La Vella and the Sanctuary of our lady of Vallivana, where every six years goes in procession of the virgin.
